For 18 users covering all six continents, CAS has developed interactive atlases. The atlases showcase the use of climate data from the Climate Data Store, the cornerstone of the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S). The Climate Data Store provides climate variables, analyses, projections and indicators relevant to adaptation and mitigation strategies. The atlases support the uptake of relevant and high-impact climate information worldwide, addressing sectors such as health, safety, water security, transport, biodiversity, tourism, agriculture and food production.
We have developed atlases for i.a. Heineken, products have been developed for Fonterra, UN Habitat, Oxfam, Pricewaterhousecoopers (PwC), the Melnikov Permafrost Institute (MPI), Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR), Tokyo Metropolitan University (TMU), Bureau of Meteorology, Australia (BOM) and the National Center for Water Quality Research (NCWQR) in Ohio.
A complete overview of parties for which we have developed an atlas is shown below. Click on the links to view the atlases. You can check the results of the project on the Copernicus website.
